Easy Overnight Oatmeal

Want an easy breakfast that also tastes delicious? Want to get in some whole grains, but don't care for mushy breakfast cereals?

This could be the answer for you.

Overnight Oats

(makes 2-4 servings, depending on appetite)

Put all ingredients in a glass bowl that has a cover or mason jar with lid:

  • ½ cup of Steel Cut Oats (not cooked)

  • 2 Tablespoons of whole Chia Seeds

  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon of raw honey or pure maple syrup (1 chopped date as a topping)

  • pinch of Himalayan salt

  • 1 cup of favorite nut or oak milk

Stir well. Cinnamon will try to float on top so “turn” it into the mixture.

Add a topping of a few nuts/seeds, favorite fruit (blueberries, sliced strawberries, diced apples, etc.), sprinkle of ground flax, etc.

Cover and put in fridge over night.
