I Don't Gain Weight, I'm a Health & Fitness Coach!

If that caught your attention and you came to read this and perhaps with a little attitude, let me assure you - that was the entire reason...to get your attention.

The truth of the matter is:

  • I am NOT exempted from gaining weight.

Quite the opposite actually. I am challenged every single day to maintain the progress I've made the last seven years.

  • I've gained weight the last two years.

I know it. You know it. Anyone who sees me knows it.

For the record, I have not changed my eating lifestyle during that time, but the massive amount of movement I used to get has been reduced by massive amounts. First it was 2019 when going through school to get my health and nutrition certifications. Even though I was teaching five fitness classes a week, the extra sitting made a difference. Then 2020 and well...we all know what happened. Even though I continued to teach five fitness classes per week, there was more sitting in researching and learning how to take classes online for my people, the tech end, the best way, the music licensing is complicated and I spent probably hundreds of hours sitting and researching, etc. Plus the lack of daily walking to the car to drive somewhere to walk into a building and walking back out to get in the car to walk back into the house...well, you get the picture.

  • I'm not a health and fitness coach who was born with a naturally thin physique.

Again, quite the opposite. I was a pudgy baby with rolls, a pudgy child with rolls, a pudgy teen with rolls and a pudgy adult with rolls. I have always had to work to keep my weight in check and now it's more about keeping my weight in check to be the healthiest I can be.

  • The fact that I do constantly have to work at it probably is one reason the Lord called me to this life ministry.

I can relate. Not to knock other health and fitness leaders who naturally have the appearance of prime health and fitness, but the fact that every single day I am aware of what I eat and what I do to maintain prime health and to keep this body disciplined to stay in shape makes me even better - I can relate to my ladies.

I have been there, done that, and doing that. Constantly!

Yes, I am a health and fitness coach and yes I have gained weight. It may not be much by some's standards, but it's more than I want. Now it will be reduced as I continue eating the same, but increase my daily movement. Watch and see.

But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest when I have preached to others I find myself disqualified. 1 Corinthians 9:27

By the way, my next Ready & WILLING Health Gain by Weight Loss Video Course is coming in August and you can get on the waiting list now.
